I receive weekly emails of what should/is happening with Sam as he grows. The email also contains a link to what activities you should try with your baby and we recently tried a new one.
Check it out.
Sam sliding back and forth on the floor
He really liked the movement, which is the whole point to the game. YEAH!
He tried the game on his back and tummy.
We also bought Sam a new mobile since the day care suggested that we could bring in one for his crib there. He really likes the new one because it lights up. The pic below shows him hanging out with the new mobile animals after lunch.
We also discovered today that he is big enough to sit in his Bumbo. He really likes sitting up straight and level with the big people in his life.
And yes, that is drool on his chin....it's already starting....*sigh.....teeth won't be far down the road. YIKES! ; )

Texas Tour...
Well, we're back from Sam's first road trip and he was such a trooper. We visited my folks and siblings, stopped by Galveston to get a little sand in our toes, and then finished the trip at Brandon's parents house.
We had a great time and Sam really wowed his grandparents....I think they fell in love with him all over again. = )
Here are some pics from the weekend.

Smile finally captured....
I did it, folks! I actually captured a decent pic of Sam smiling. I've been trying to get one for weeks and it never worked out until this morning. YEAH!!!
We had some fun play time today...it really is hard to stop playing with him to grab some pics, but I know it must be done...*sigh.... ; )
Have a great weekend everyone.

Busy week...
We just had a busy week....ran a few errands, went out to lunch and a happy hour, I had a doctor's appointment, and Sam met most of the folks up at Brandon's office. Whew! He was a real trooper through it all. I couldn't be more pleased with how easy he is when we are on the move.
He's growing so quickly and starting to learn how to work us...and good. This week was a little tough because he decided that he prefers to be in our arms vs. anywhere else. Go figure! I was shocked to hear him start to fuss when I walked into his room when it was 'sleepy time'...it took a few walk-ins for me to figure it out....but he was fussing to let me know that he didn't want to be put down in his bed. Little stinker. ; )
It's all good though...we're still in love and enjoying every minute with him.
Here are a few pics from the week.

One of those days where Sam didn't want to sleep anywhere except next to momma
