Sam's First Christmas...

Good news! Sam was a good boy this year and got a visit from Santa and lots of fun stuff from his family and friends. Not too bad considering he only had 6 months to work with. ; )

Here are some pics from the last few weeks. Sorry for the delay.

All is well here on the Hill. Sam has been super busy learning all sorts of new things. He's currently working on two bottom teeth, sitting up, and scooting. That's a lot for a little guy, but he's tackling it like a real champ.

We'll be going in on Monday for his 6 month well check appointment...and yes, there will be shots. Not to worry, he's proven to be a tough guy so far. I'll update again after the appointment.

what a shocker, huh? =)

we've been super busy and extremely under the weather lately. for those that are on FB...you know our sam had his first illness.....ear infection, antibiotics the whole nine yards. RATS!! we prevailed, though and continue to do so.

for those of you not familiar with austin....just think of an allergy report where there are multiple thing in the 'red' over a few days. uuuugh.

any...why you're all here to begin with...PICS!! the first few capture sam during what i refer to as 'fever weekend 2009'....so far..... the remaining are of sam enjoying the life of a 5 month old.

also, i quit doing the edit on the red-eye issue. feel free to do so on your end if you want. momma needs to expend her energy and time in other areas here at la casa. ; )

Happy Skeleton...

Just wanted to put up a few pics from the last few weeks including Sam's first Halloween.

Sam was a skeleton Friday (for school) and then changed into the pumpkin gear that his Granma and Poppa got him. He was such a happy guy and definitely loves the attention his cuteness gets him from EVERYONE! Such a ham. Anyway...I need to apologize up front...most of the pics I take of Sam turn out w/serious red eye problems so, I'm doing adjustments before posting. I think it makes his eyes look a little 'off', but anything is better than the alternative. Anyone got any ideas on how to minimize the scary red eye thing?

Another big milestone covered in these pics is Sam's first taste of rice cereal. YUM! He was extremely excited and knew exactly what to do with the spoon...what a smart boy. And of course...more action in his jumper. He's getting to be quite the pro in that contraption....so much fun!!
