Feeding frenzy...

Hi, folks. Sorry it's been a few days since I posted. We're all ok here....just going through a growth spurt which basically has me feeding on demand, and let me tell you....Sam knows how to issue demands. ; )

We went to the doctor again this past Friday to address a few issues that cropped up during the week....nothing to worry about though. He's all good and weighed 7 1/2 lbs! That's a weight gain of 2 ounces a day! Can you believe it? His doc was very happy and said the more weight the better....so we're staying the course. His belly is already pretty impressive....I'm going to work on getting a pic of it today for posting.

We had a pretty big weekend for us these days. My brother, Christopher, and his girlfriend, Holli, came up for a visit to meet Sam. Christopher was born when I was 13 years old, so I've always considered him my first baby...to see the two of them together was awesome.

Sam also got to meet his great-grandmother, Shirley. She's such a pro....she fed him and then he just snuggled on her in the midst of the party and all our cousins and snoozed the rest of the time. How she does it....I'll never know....she's got the touch and babies LOVE it.

I took the night off from feeding at the party and was able to hang out with the adults for a change. It was nice while it lasted, but reality took hold when I had to toss 4 ounces down the drain before going to bed. UUUUUGH!! Taking the night off also hit the milk bank pretty hard...I'm still trying to build it back up, but with this feeding frenzy going on....it's been tough. We'll get back on track though...don't you worry.

Here are some pics from the weekend. There will be more to come, so check back soon.
