The ribbon cutting…

Well…..we did it! The kiddo’s room is complete….WOOHOO!!

I’m most excited about Brandon really liking it. I included him in some choices along the way, but I definitely had an idea of what I wanted from the start and pushed us to stay with keeping the room very soothing and calm…..and we pulled it off. We both feel so chill in the room…which, if you think about it, is a darn good thing considering how much time we’ll be in there in the coming months. YIKES!!! ; )

Anyway, so here are pictures of the finished product.

Our last appointment with Dr Winn was quick and easy. Baby is still busy and healthy and I’m measuring fine. We go back in on 5/15 for an exam and ultrasound that will show us whether or not he’s in position and give us an estimate on his weight. We’re totally stoked that we get to see him again before delivery and I’m extremely anxious to know if he’s head-down. I’ve been telling him every morning for the last few weeks to “Assume the position, kiddo” and I’m hoping it worked. We went through birthing class this weekend and I’m not interested in any of the breech options available at the hospital.

Work is getting more and more difficult because I’m so distracted and I feel disoriented most of the day. I’m sure both can be attributed to the fact that I haven’t had any solid, uninterrupted sleep in over a month….god! has it been that long….no wonder!!! Anyway...I’m making it and will continue so. My last day at the office is set for 6/12 so I’m staying focused on that date on the calendar and getting my fill-in ready to take over.

I’ll be checking back in after the ultrasound and our trip to PA to see my youngest brother graduate (YEAH! Christopher).

Ciao!

Hey guys,
Love the room, the kiddo has very creative parents. The colors, bed, accessories everything is awesome. Just on the countdown now to see that precious baby in that bed!

I love the baby nursery! So adorable. Can't wait for the little critter to arrive.

Laurie, Brandon tells me you are planning to go natural. You are a brave woman indeed :) leslie Cantu
